From barrel to better
We went deep into sauna tradition, studying Finnish masters and the idea of löyly. We tested layouts, bench heights, airflow, and materials to learn what creates even heat and calming steam. Those insights shaped the blueprint for our new design.
We Redesigned Everything
That is why our saunas use straight walls for true comfort, since you cannot sit comfortably in a hunched barrel. Benches sit above the heater to place you in the optimal heat zone rather than down near the floor in a barrel. The compact footprint fits in spaces where barrels do not and the rigid frame stays stable, unlike the structurally compromised barrel shape.
Thermowood
We did not stop there. Traditional timber moves and shrinks, which weakens insulation over time. After extensive research we adopted the Thermowood process. This thermal modification stabilises the wood, limits natural shrinkage, improves insulation, and extends the life of every sauna.

We use these saunas every single day living the sauna experience firsthand, testing, refining, and improving every detail based on real world use. We have rigorously tested our designs, making changes based on customer feedback and our own personal experiences. We know what works and what does not because we have felt it ourselves.
